www.trailsbc.ca: Trails BC is tasked with establishing the Trans Canada Trail in B.C. and advocating for trail networks in B.C. for walkers, cyclists, and equestrians.
Trails can support such land management initiatives when they pass by or go through such areas. They tend to help make the public more aware of the value of such undertakings through direct positive interaction while enjoying active healthy pursuits. This along with interpretive materials can help educate the public to the value of such projects when their quality of life and experiences are positively enhanced by them.
www.southwellington.com: The South Wellington & Area Community Association is a non-profit, volunteer community association. The SWACA Board of Directors assist to promote activities that enhance the quality of rural life for the residents of South Wellington and area.
www.goert.ca: The Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team (GOERT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the recovery of Garry oak and associated ecosystems in Canada and the species at risk that inhabit them.
www.naturecanada.ca: Nature Canada is a member-based non-profit conservation organization. Its network includes 40,000 supporters and more than 350 naturalist organizations across Canada.
www.ecoreserves.bc.ca : Friends of Ecological Reserves (FER) is a volunteer based, not-for-profit charitable organization that promotes the interests of the ecological reserves program in British Columbia.
http://www.ourecovillage.org/: O.U.R. Ecovillage is a sustainable learning center and demonstration site which focuses on ecological ways of living involving permaculture design. O.U.R. Ecovillage is dedicated to researching and modeling ways that are rooted in social, cultural, spiritual, economic and ecological well-being.
